Women, Infants and Children (WIC)

Bethel's WIC Program, a supplemental food program that provides services i.e. nutritional foods and education based on risk factors determined at certification, started in 1985 with an assigned caseload of 500. Through Bethel, WIC currently serves 2,600 participants at five sites. WIC participants are pregnant, lactating, or post-partum women; infants and children up to 5 years of age.
