Gumbo Gala: A Great Time Even in Bad Weather

The staff and participants at Bethel New Life would like to extend a heartfelt "Thank You" to all of our 2008 Mardi Gras "Gumbo Gala" attendees and supporters.

This year's event was a tremendous success and a rousing tribute to Warner Saunders.

In true Bethel New Life tradition we served up a delightful evening of gourmet food and festivities, from the silent and live auctions to the musical stylings of "A Motown Tribute" , the evening was enjoyed by all. Again, Thank you for your continued support and we look forward to seeing you next year

Turning Over Tables – Revisited

Earlier in the year, we talked about the changes that needed to happen to improve our personal and professional lives, our organization and our community. I used the story of Jesus in the Temple as an example of not letting the status quo continue but to turn over the tables and establish a new day: a new way of living, working, surviving.
