Adaptive Reuse and Sustainable Development
Bethel New Life is faithfully innovating to revitalize our community, by developing new assets in places that are abandoned and blighted. We advocate strongly for adaptive reuse of existing community resources. We also encourage sustainable development, using passive and active systems to make buildings in our community energy efficient and friendly to the people who use them.
Adaptive Reuse
Beth Anne Center is an award-winning Adaptive reuse of a former hospital campus. In addition to our headquarters offices, the facilities on this campus now house a range of useful services for the residents of our community.
Sustainable Development
Bethel Center is another award-winning facility developed from the ground on a brownfield site by Bethel New Life. The transit-oriented Center is a multi-use facility that incorporates leased retail spaces, BNL program offices and services such as our employment center, technology center and a day care facility, managed by Mary Crane, Inc.
